Now, I'm all for giving kids unique names. I've wanted to name my future daughter Alaska ever since I read a book who's main charecter had that name.

But JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell? Really?

So ok. Fox5 does highschool game of the week every week, and this week WSHS is in the running with our homecoming game against Hylton. We win if we get the winning amount of votes at the end of the week, on Friday I think.
Sooo...I'd love it if you voted for my school! Here's how you do it:

1. Go to myfoxdc.com (or google Fox5) and then go to the sports tab.
2. Right there BAM should be the highschool game of the week picture. Clicky clicky!
3. This where it's a slight pain in the ass. If you don't already have an account with them, you have to make one. But all you have to do is put in your email and pick a password, than activate your account with the email link they send you. Then they might ask you to fill out like your name and stuff, but just fill that in with fake info so you don't get bombarded with shit email.
4. OK! Hard part done. Down at the very bottom is the Hylton @ Woodbridge game. VOTE PLEASE!

So. I've recently picked up a couple books by the astounding Mr. Chuck Palahniuk. I read Fight Club first, and then read the book Rant. And I've kind of really fallen in love with him and the way he writes.

Anyone else read his books/what do you think of him?

I am thankful for;

My Mom. A lot of my friends don't have the kind of relationship that I have with my mom, obvious by the fact that she has now become like a mom to at least three of my friends. She's a rock. My rock. And I think she's amazing, with all the stuff she does around this house everyday. And she's totally cute. ;)
My Papa. That 'invaluable' male perspective? Really is invaluable. A lot of the things he has told me has really made things easier to go through and understand. The honesty of it makes me takes things at a different perspective.
All assorted siblings, my dad, and yes, Lisa. For the oppourtunities they've given me and the lessons they've taught me.
The clan.
My friends.
My school, my theater program.
The houses that I have; the things that are in them.
The fact that I live in a place where speaking my mind and being me isn't a bad thing.
The relationships I've had this year; the lessons I've learned about myself, how I interact with people, and just other people in general is amazing. I've grown.


I'm thankful to be here. To be breathing. To know the things I know. To have met the people I've met.

Is anyone here a believer that if you think a certain way, things will happen because of it?

For example, if you think, "I'm amazing, I can get any guy I want" or "Dang. Guys wouldn't be intrested in me" your love life will be affected as such?

I have a friend, and she says that she really feels like that's true.

So, do you feel like if you think like you know what's up, things will start to fall into place like you want them?

This went from "a month or so" to "a couple weeks" to "the end of the week" to "probably not through the night".

Seriously.

I know the doctors are trying. But all those changing times up there were given to people in the time span of 24 hours. How can we shorten someone's time left on here like that?

I'm pissed off.
Melly's baby will never get to see her. That's not fair! She's supposed to be here, here for all of this!

I was there.
I touched her hands, and kissed her head.

But it still doesn't seem real. That couldn't be our Cait, lying there. It doesn't seem real, and I just have no idea what to do.
